About Spring Cycle.
The Spring Cycle has been running since 1984 with exception of 2020 and 2021.
Now in its 38th year, Spring Cycle brings together approximately 8,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities to participate in NSW’s largest family friendly recreational bike ride. The only child friendly, grassroots, community participation and accessible cycle in Australia.
Riders can take part in the 10km City Ride and 50km Classic Ride and experience Sydney like never before as this iconic event is still the only ride that goes over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, along the Cahill Expressway and through the CBD on closed roads.
In 2022 the new look event will include the introduction of adaptive cycling. Spring Cycle will be accessible to all by bike, including children and adults with disabilities. Again, breaking boundaries, Spring Cycle will be the first recreational bike ride with a disability wave, giving everyone access to cycling, and peddling the iconic event in the heart of Sydney.
